In her message, she emphasises the harsh realities of war and its devastating impact on ordinary civilians. Her father, Reza Khandan, a prominent human rights activist and graphic designer, was arrested in 2018 for speaking out against Iran's compulsory hijab laws and the death penalty.
Reza remains imprisoned and is scheduled for release in December 2024, as per reports.
