Fathers and daughters share a unique and close relationship that is often talked about. Daughters are known to be very close to their fathers, and it's an emotional and hard time for both people when they have to move away, for example, for college or after marriage.?
However, what remains is a wait for reunions followed by happiness that can't be contained.?
A daughter, however, had been waiting for this reunion for a very different reason altogether. She sent a menu prior to even reaching home, listing what she would like to eat after returning home from the hostel after five whole months.?
The father, in turn, shared the screenshot on Twitter and people on the internet are having a ball. Here's what she wrote.
In a post that is now going viral, Twitter user Shwetank Bhushan shared a screenshot of what his daughter?texted him before coming home from the hostel after 5 months.?
He took to Twitter to share his conversation with his daughter, Shiksha, who is returning home five months after staying in a college hostel. In the WhatsApp screenshot, Shiksha sent him an entire menu of what she wanted to eat on the day she arrives. From starters to dessert, this menu had all of it, listed date-wise.?
And it is noteworthy to see that all the dishes are non-vegetarian on her list since her hostel only serves vegetarian food as informed by her father in the caption of the tweet. He wrote, "Daughter is coming home on 16th evening after 5 months. Hostel (and hers is a vaishnav one) really makes kids bhukkad-Bhikhari!"?
Vaishnav hostel means the hostel will only serve vegetarian food and non-vegetarian food is not allowed to be even ordered from outside. Explains the craving, if we might add.?
The post went viral, and ever since it was posted the tweet has got 135 likes. Many people related to the father as well as the daughter.?
A lady shared her personal?story with her dad and tweeted, "My father still asks me to send my list prior to visiting home so that the things are ready on time. Fathers are truly the best and he even cooks my favorite items this routine has been the same since I first went to hostel in 2009 (class 11th)!"
?A mother also added, "my daughter ¡ although married with a 8 yrs son and running her own nice full kitchen .. still sends me such long lists .. now her husband¡¯s and kid¡¯s wish list is also added on to her own."
?A man also pointed out a plight, "This shows what the kids are missing in their life by staying in Hostels...... So everyone please note that LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL so please enjoy the each n every second with ours only... Don't give a chance of depart...."
