She had said that she's already noticing the changes in her body and it's working well for her. During a recent interview, she shared that she follows an early-to-bed routine along with her daughter Vamika and is done eating by five pm. Let's find out what she eats throughout the day.
For breakfast, Anushka focuses on eating a protein-rich meal. Like this healthy snack of muesli, yoghurt and fruit she shared on her Instagram a while ago. Additionally, she also shared that idlis have become sort of an obsession as of late and she eats idli with sambhar and chutney very frequently for breakfast, saying that fermented foods are great for the body first thing in the morning.
For lunch, which she usually eats at around 11-12, she goes for a traditional dal (lentils), chappati and sabzi (vegetable) meal. She goes for a homecooked meal every day and sometimes even opts plate of rice with her favourite aloo (potato) sabzi.?
Anushka opts for an early lunch at around 5 pm in the evening along with her daughter. Since she goes to bed early, she highlighted that she does not prefer eating anything that's too heavy or is difficult to digest for her body before going to bed. So she eats a light dinner like some sort of salad or saut¨¦ed vegetables.
In an interview during her most recent visit to the country, the 42-year-old actress revealed that her go-to comfort food is dishes cooked by her mom. When asked about a particular dish, she shared that she loved simple dal, rice and aloo sabzi, together in one plate.
Anushka does not eat any kind of processed food. During an interview she shared an easy recipe to make almond milk at home and amidst the Covid pandemic she delighted fans with a short clip of her making jam at home. In another interview with Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh during the promotion of their film Philhauri, Anushka said, revealed that she does not eat gluten, sugar, milk and milk products and rather includes their alternatives in her diet like quinoa, amaranth, jowar, bajra and rajgira.
Following that no-fuss, simple routine, Anushka once shared that she follows a monotrophic diet which includes eating the same type of food or a very limited variety of food items for each meal over a period of time. In an interview, she said, "When I am filming a movie. I eat the same thing. So, there have been times when I have had khichdi and baingan bhaja for a month straight for dinner. That¡¯s all I have eaten. Or idli sambar for breakfast for 6 months straight.¡±?
Other than following a strict diet plan, Anushka is also very dedicated to her fitness routine and works out every single day. The celebrated actress even followed an easy yoga routine during her pregnancy to stay fit and healthy.
