Kareena Kapoor's nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar is always motivating her fans and followers on Instagram to eating right an working out. She has never encouraged her clients to follow the modern diets. Infact, she is a big believer of local, seasonal and traditional food items. Rujuta got the roasted makhanas back as a healthy eating option after Kareena was spotted eating them as a snack.?
Rujuta posted a picture of raw vegetables and dals today that grow and and are sourced locally.?
?Everything looked organic and nothing seemed exotic or imported. Placting the carrots, cucumber, beetroots in a basket, Rujuta wrote, "Our diets are falling short on diversity, not protein. Our exercise is falling short on quality, not quantity. Our life is falling short on connect, not consumption.Kya bolti tu?"
She has spoken about how modern diets and exercises lack diversity,? quality and real connection. Last evening too, Rujuta said she has been called mad and a monster for following and encouraging people to eat home grown and season based food and fruits.
Speaking not just about food but also human behaviour, Rujuta wrote, "Mad Monster Mass murderer - just some of the things that I have been called for promoting local, seasonal, traditional food.- Other than the usual stuff that any woman worth her salt is called. Aunty. Attention seeking. Feel sorry for her husband. How have you been demeaned for being a woman with a point, purpose and perspective?"
The?nutritionist?has always spoken her mind and said people resort to name calling when she tells them to eat what's inside the fridge and not run after fad diets. Rujuta is currently celebrating Nutrition week and it's mtruly a delight to follow her lifestyle but it involves all things and foods you love without having to starve or compromise.
