The star was the victim of brutal body shaming during her appearance on the show. Following the show's end Shehnaaz took advantage of the Covid 19 pandemic and worked on her health. In a period of 6 months, Shehnaaz lost a whopping 12 kg weight by changing her lifestyle, diet and eating habits.
In an interview, Shehnaaz revealed that rather than engaging in rigorous workouts she lost her weight by taking control of what she ate. She shared that she eliminated foods like chocolates, ice creams and even non-vegetarian foods from her diet. She also shared that she would practice portion control and rather than eating till when she's full, she ate just how much she thing she needed. For instance, she revealed if she was hungry enough to eat two rotis she would eat just one.
She shared that she started her day with lukewarm water with some apple cider vinegar in it and then followed it with sprouts or something light like dosa. Shehnaaz also eliminated variety from her meals and would typically consume only one to two types of food every day. For instance, if she would eat moong dal for lunch, she would the eat same thing for dinner as well.
