Internet sensation Orhan Awatramani or as he is lovingly called 'Orry' recently made an appearance on Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan's son Arhaan Khan's podcast 'Dumb Biryani' and shared details regarding his massive weight loss. Orry who is best friends with Bollywood stars like Janhvi Kapoor, Ananya Panday and Sara Ali Khan revealed that he lost a whopping 23 kg by following a 'zero-sugar-tolerant diet' and now weighs 50 kg. Going through Orry's Instagram feed, there's been a clear difference in his physique in his latest posts. As Orry literally lives on the internet and regularly updates his followers on social media regarding his daily shenanigans it is evident how much he has changed. While the Gen Z icon was never overweight, his recent posts show how his physique has changed over the last couple of months. Orry has been flaunting his lithe physique and defined muscles in his latest photos.
He shared that even though he has lost a lot of weight in the last year, he has not yet his ideal weight goal. On the podcast, he revealed that currently he weighs about 50-51kgs but wants to be somewhere around 47 kg.
In the podcast when Arhaan asked him what is his home-cooked food like, Orry shared that his food is the same as every other Indian household. Talking about his diet he added that currently, he is on a very strict?zero-sugar-tolerant diet, which means he doesn't eat any sugar and by following this diet he lost about 23 kg. He shared that he starts his day with an egg-white omelette for breakfast and then does not eat anything else throughout the day. He further added that sometimes he'll eat dinner, depending upon what is cooked at home.
A zero-sugar-tolerant diet is basically a highly restrictive eating plan where all kinds of added sugars are eliminated. In this diet, processed food items like sodas, desserts and candies as well as foods containing refined sugar like syrups, sauces and sweeteners are also cut out. In certain cases, even natural sugars from fruits and dairy are also significantly limited. Simplistically, the diet is a hardcore weight management plan which involves eating lean proteins, and healthy and whole grains to lose weight.
While Orry claims to have lost a great amount of weight through the restrictive diet, no such diet should be followed blindly without taking advice from a licensed healthcare professional.
