Not everybody gets an instant boost in life. Some people have to keep doing what they are doing to get any results. Sometimes things work out when you follow the "slow and steady" mantra.

The man's story begins in 1947, when he moved from Pakistan to India with his family.
When he heard about lotteries, the man started trying his luck. Dass finally made it after nearly 40 years of purchasing lottery tickets when he won the incredible 5 crore prize money.

The outlet also reveals the not-so-hidden truth behind the money Dass is set to gather from the lottery. As per the Assitant Lottery director, Karam Singh, Dass will get the money left behind after a 30 percent tax?has been deducted from the amount. The director told ANI, "Punjab State Lohri Makar Sankranti Bumper Lottery?2023 results were announced on January 16. He (Dwarka Dass) won the first prize of Rs 5 Cr.
