What happens when you are forced to do work you did not sign up for? You take your frustration out on live television. Mark Woodley, an Iowa, US, sports reporter was 'forced' to cover the weather when a storm hit the state.
Amid the cold weather, the sports reporter from KWWL had to step outside in the middle of the night to report the weather conditions in the streets of Waterloo for over three hours. The reporter reposted his frustrated video on Twitter as he wrote, ¡°This is what you get when you ask the sports guy to come in to cover a blizzard in the morning show."
In the video, he is seen standing in the middle of the snow as he says, ¡°What better time to ask the sports guy to come in about five hours earlier than he would normally wake up, go stand out in the wind and the snow and the cold and tell other people not to do the same?¡± While on the other side of the line sits Ryan Witry, an anchor in his warm comfortable studio.?
As the day progressed, the report became more and more annoyed about his work, ¡°Tune into the show for the next couple hours to watch me get progressively crankier and crankier.¡±
He also mentioned, ¡°How do I get that Storm Chaser 7 duty? That thing is heated, the outdoors currently is not heated,¡± while Woodley laments a missed assignment that he could have opted for.
Check out the viral video below:
Slowly, Woodley started slurring his words due to the cold and said, ¡°The good news is that I can still feel my face right now. The bad news is that I kind of wish I couldn¡¯t.¡± He then started ranting even more, ¡°Can I go back to my regular job? I¡¯m pretty sure, Ryan, you guys added an extra hour to the show just because somebody likes torturing me.¡±
