A woman from Mumbai shared how a Swiggy delivery driver came to her and her brother's rescue when they were stranded on a road at midnight.
Akshita Changan took to LinkedIn to share the incident - She was riding with her brother when their bike ran out of petrol and stopped in the middle of the road at 12.15 am.?
"A silent night with no passengers in sight, just me and my brother waiting at the roadside for some help until we discovered a delivery man checking out for an address on his mobile phone," Akshita wrote.
Akshita's brother approached the delivery guy and asked him to tow their bike. The driver politely refused and said,?"Sir, I¡¯m going the other way round and I can't be late for delivery."?
However, then the driver enquired if they had a bottle of water, and when they said no, he emptied his own water bottle and gave petrol from his bike so that Akshita and her brother could reach the nearest petrol pump.?
"I was awestruck by his behavior, for us he was an angel in disguise, a man on his way to deliver a smile to his customer, and on his way to work, he delivered kindness to us," Akshita said.
Akshita asked his name, and he responded with "Mi Roshan Dalvi," and left the sibling duo to their task of getting to the petrol pump.?
Akshita said that Roshan was "an angel disguised as a delivery person".She also got in touch with Roshan via Swiggy to express her gratitude.?
