The lockdown period is making people acquire more skills since they have a lot of time on their hands. Some are taking things to another level and breaking world records in the weirdest of things.?
A couple from USA's Idaho took it upon themselves to break a Guinness World Record?- a man dressed up?in as many as 32 t-shirts, in just one minute. David Rush laid out the t-shirts in his living room, while his wife helped him in the process of wearing them. Together, they were able to break the record they were aiming for.
Rush is known to have broken over 100 Guinness World Records to promote STEM education. A video of Rush carrying out the task with the help of his wife, Jennifer, is doing the rounds on the Internet.?
The t-shirts are strategically placed on the floor so that Rush can 'rush' to wear them without wasting any unnecessary time. You can see their two children in the background who seem unfazed by their parents' activities, which makes you realise that maybe they are already used to their mom and dad having fun.?
Rush manages to wear 32 t-shirts in a minute which breaks the previous record of 31.?
He mentioned how his wife participated in her first official record by helping him out in breaking this world record. Earlier, she had helped him break a world record for the fastest time to wrap a person in cling-wrap, but her name did not get officially listed for it.?
David told?UPI, "She (his wife) had a slick motion where she would catch the shirt coming down over the back of my neck and in one swift motion pull it down my back."??
Rush also broke another world record earlier this month, when he joined forces with his friend Jonathan Hannon, and the duo stuck 29 ping-pong balls in shaving cream on the head in 30 seconds.?
Guinness World Records was first founded in 1955 and is a reference book which is published annually. It lists world records both of human achievements and the extremes of the natural world.?
Rush uploaded the video of the same on his YouTube channel. You can watch it here.
