Jugaad is the true essence of desis all over the world. It is the spirit of making things happen even if circumstances don¡¯t allow it. It is being resourceful to a fault. Well, if you go around a neighbourhood in India it¡¯s hard not to come by people employing jugaad to make things work in their lives.
Whether it be using a homemade device to work the water pipes in the household or using desi ways to beat the heat in the summer, Jugaad has seeped deep into the lives of every Indian.?
So, when IAS officer Awanish Sharan shared a jugaad his mother recorded, people were amazed. The IAS officer shared a video of a man who had used his jugaadu brain to make an on-the-go flour mill.
In the clip, the man introduced a two-wheeler that was powering up his mini-flour mill. The bike?stands stationary but powers up the mill that's attached to it internally and in return the mill grounds the wheat to make ¡°atta¡± for the average Indian household.?
The IAS officer explained in his caption that the portable atta-chakki guy had come to his mother¡¯s doorstep to deliver some freshly ground atta when she decided to film the guy and his ingenious money-maker and sent the video to her son. He wrote, ¡°My mom sent me this video. This guy came to my home with this ¡®Atta Chakki Machine.¡¯ What an innovation.¡±
People on the internet gave mixed reactions to the jugaad. While some were already familiar with the device, others were impressed.?
One user went above and beyond to praise the seller, ¡°Finally the historic battle between a father and his son will be settled as to "Atta kon le ke aaega?" This is not just innovation, this is a revolution in mankind.¡±
While one informed, ¡°This is very common nowadays in Bihar, They sell sattu instant.¡±
