In a testament to deep faith and dedication, an Indian woman undertook a vow of silence until the completion of the Ram Temple. Breaking her silence on January 22, she will journey to Ayodhya, marking a significant moment in her commitment to this monumental occasion.
Saraswati Aggarwal, an 85-year-old inhabitant of Karamtand in Dhanbad, has kept her vow of silence for the past 30 years. Her commitment is tied to the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.?
Come January 22, as the Lord Shri Ram temple is consecrated in Ayodhya, Aggarwal, after maintaining a three-decade silence, will finally break it with the utterance of 'Ram, Sitaram.'?
Feeling blessed, Aggarwal believes she has been summoned by 'Ram Lalla' to participate in the Pran Pratistha (consecration) ritual.
Accompanied by her brothers, she reached Ayodhya on January 8.?
Aggarwal's spiritual odyssey commenced in May 1992, leading her to Ayodhya, where she encountered Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, the head of the Ram Janmabhoomi Trust.
Adhering to his instructions, she journeyed to Chitrakoot, residing in the Kalpavas for seven and a half months. During this time, she sustained herself with only a daily glass of milk and diligently circumambulated the 14-kilometre path around Kamtanath mountain each day.
Upon completing the parikrama, she returned to Ayodhya. On December 6, 1992, she crossed paths with Swami Nritya Gopal Das, who inspired her to observe a silent fast, vowing to break it on the auspicious day of the Ram temple consecration.
