A terrified Eddie Croasdell, 56, is ordered to show his hands and walk towards police as they aim guns and a Taser at him. He was then put in handcuffs and dragged outside his home in St Albans, Hertfordshire, England, The Sun reported.?
It turns out that the police got the wrong house, as they responded to reports of someone being held at knifepoint. And, by the time that police realised Croasdell was not the person they were looking for, the real culprit had escaped, as per The Sun.?
In the raid, which took place on Sunday, nine armed officers and six?plain-clothed officers?attended, along with two vans, three cars and a dog unit.??
Croasdell?has now complained to the police watchdog over the incident and is said to be considering legal action.?
"I was woken up to bashing at my door on Sunday morning at 8.30 am to see what looked like a platoon of US Marines standing outside.?I was completely, completely terrified. I opened up and was painted with laser targets and someone shouting, 'Put your hands over your head'," he told The Sun.??
"I thought, ¡°S*** they must think I¡¯m a terrorist. They are going to shoot me," he added.?
He said he tried to think of anything he had done wrong recently but couldn¡¯t make sense of what was happening.??
