A Toxic workplace culture exists, and many people suffer as a result. The Internet has frequently highlighted incidents of supervisors and bosses yelling at their employees. As people continue to experience such challenges at work, a Chennai woman's message is suddenly trending. In the post, the woman described how her prior company's founder used to yell at her, but she devised a clever solution.
Akshita, a social media user, took to the microblogging site X (previously Twitter) to express an original suggestion that helped her avoid issues at her prior job. The woman said in her post that her employer was constantly yelling at everyone. However, the language he spoke was Hindi.
Capitalizing on the language issue because she was from Chennai, the woman respectfully approached her boss, stating that she was unfamiliar with Hindi and couldn't understand what he was saying.? ? ?
Akshita wrote, ¡°The founder of the previous company I worked for used to yell at everybody in Hindi. So I told them I didn¡¯t know Hindi cause I¡¯m from Chennai (Tamilian).¡± Further divulging how the language barrier saved her from humiliation, she continued, ¡°So they had to switch to English to yell at me each time and I got yelled at way less than other folks because of this.¡±??
After being shared, the post received lakhs of likes and many comments. A user responded to her message, saying, "I do this every day. I wait patiently for folks to fully understand the requirements.
When they finish, I tell them I don't understand their language and they must repeat it in English."Furthermore, a person questioned her, "You had no problem with the yelling, only the language?"?
The woman responded to the user's question by stating that she departed her work after seven months owing to her boss's poisonous conduct. Some praised her message, with one calling it "the lesser-known language defence 101." Check the viral post here.
