The girl is a daughter of a labourer, and she was playing outside her house when she was attacked by a pack of dogs. The canines surrounded her and bit her on her head, belly and legs as she attempted to escape.?
The video shows the girl being pulled down to the ground by the dogs who continued to attack her mercilessly. The CCTV was recorded in Bhopal's Bag Sewania. The attack continued for a few more minutes before a passerby saved her and chased away the dogs.?
According to reports, street dogs have become a common problem in Bhopal. Last year, a seven-year-old girl was attacked by half a dozen stray dogs in front of her mother.?
Another incident took place in 2019, a six-year-old boy was killed by half a dozen stray dogs in front of his mother. The boy's mother suffered from severe injuries when she tried to save her son. Reports suggest that Bhopal is home to a lakh stray dogs.
