Even in the 21st century, many couples in India have to hide their relationships from their families because many people still believe in the concept of different castes, class and gotra.?Such couples often have to take drastic steps such as running away from their familes to protect themselves and their love.
But there are some people rather shops in Haryana which are supporting these runaway couples and helping them get married.?
These "marriage shops" are located in Haryana's Panchkula city.?
According to Times Of India, these?¡®marriage shops¡¯ are lined on the road which leads to Mata Mansa Devi temple in Panchkula. For a particular fee, these shops arrange wedding ceremonies for couples, rent them wedding attires and costume jewellery, provide them with a photo session, authentic marriage certificates, and a lawyer to help them file a protection plea at court.
Depending upon the couple¡¯s demands these?packages range from Rs 5,100 to Rs 16,000. These shops have all articles ready to arrange a quick wedding. Couples after renting these articles are allowed to visit the temple to seek the blessings of the deity. The rented wedding attire then has to be returned after the photo session.
Akhilesh Pandey, apriest of one the shops said, ¡°Everything can be done within two days; nobody else can guarantee this.?We have been solemnising around 70-80 weddings in a month,?and some of these couples are those approaching the high court for security."
These sure is some kindness amid all the hatred in the world.?
