On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that the government had decided to repeal the three farm laws which were passed by the central government last year.
While announcing this development, the Prime Minister also apologised to the farmers mentioning how the government has failed to convince them about these three farm laws. He also urged the protesting farmers to return back to their homes now.?
Many famous personalities reacted to this announcement and one among them was?Congress leader Rahul Gandhi who took jabs at the Centre, saying that farmers¡¯ satyagraha has defeated arrogance. He also shared his old video on Twitter in which he predicted that the Modi government will be forced to repeal the three farm laws.

In the video which was originally shared on January 14, 2021, Rahul said, "I am very proud of what our farmers are doing and I fully support the farmers and I will continue to stand with them.
