There are lots of refreshments available for individuals to order during a flight to satisfy their thirst while soaring thousands of feet in the air, but apparently tea and coffee are strictly prohibited.?
An airline employee has suggested passengers to avoid the variety of hot beverages available onboard and instead choose wine, spirits, beer, or soft drinks.
Cierra Mistt, who claims to have worked on a US airline, stated that she and her colleagues avoid beverages that require hot water.Despite rows of people ordering it, the flight attendant stated that they will only serve tea or coffee as a last resort when they are 'super desperate'.So what does Cierra know that we don't??
As an experienced flight hostess, she has probably seen it all by now.Cierra witnesses not only the numerous takeoffs and landings, but also the cleaning procedures that take place on the aircraft.
After all of the passengers have left the airport terminal, a cleaning crew climbs onboard to give the plane a cursory cleaning and collect everyone's trash. They don't have long to do this, so they obviously don't go all in inside the cabin.?
However, according to Cierra, some portions of the plane are ignored in terms of cleanliness. In a short YouTube video divulging her 'flight attendant secrets', she stated that the machines that deliver hot water for refreshments like tea and coffee are 'never cleaned'.?
Cierra stated, "Unless we are extremely desperate, we will not drink the coffee or tea provided on the plane.""The water that we use for coffee and tea comes from the same source, and guess what? It is never cleansed."?
While airlines may tell passengers that they conduct 'regular water quality testing', we are told that it takes six to nine months for one test on one plane to occur.?
