Do you want to flee to a remote island and forget about the rest of the world? If Elli?aey, an island off the south coast of Iceland and part of the Vestmann archipelago, appeals to you, your desire could come true.?There is only one house here, and the infrastructure is minimal due to the lack of human population. It was dubbed "the loneliest house in the world" online.?
Three years ago, an American YouTuber named Ryan Trahan decided to visit the residence and video his stay.?He stated that some people claimed the mansion was built with money donated by a billionaire who wanted to be ready for a zombie onslaught. Others claimed it was for a cult. Ryan, on the other hand, was eager to learn the truth.?
Ryan plans to take a cab near Reykjavik and then board a boat to Elli?aey, the world's most remote island. He then enlisted the help of a resident, Bjarni Sigurdsson, who rose to prominence in 2019 after attempting to travel to the island himself. He then offered to tour him around with the assistance of a man named Ragnar.
The three arrived on the island after crossing choppy waters aboard a small boat that could pass for a lifeboat at sea.He admitted that he was extremely anxious and had barely used the restroom once in 48 hours.?
When they arrived on the island, the situation worsened. There was no pier, so they had to use ropes to ascend the island's edge.Ryan signed the guest book as the 11,265th visitor as they arrived at the cabin-like house surrounded only by grass and wildlife.?
He then chose to highlight the nice dining/sitting space where they enjoyed the steaks served by Bjarni.Ragnar stated that people lifted everything in the house with their bare hands, including all of the materials and artefacts utilized in its construction.?
Ryan also showed us the attic-sized room with seven beds where he would spend the night. The next morning, Ryan unveiled the island's wildlife, which included sheep, puffins, and seals.
When questioned if the mansion was built by a billionaire, Bjarni disclosed that a smaller building a few meters away once housed bird scientists studying the island's unique puffins.?
Ryan is a pretty adventurous YouTuber and brings unique and bizarre experiential videos for the viewers. Recently, he stayed in Mr Beasts bunker. Check the video here.
