McMahon is a co-chair of Trump's transition team as he prepares to return to the White House in January. It is responsible for filling approximately 4,000 positions in the government.?
Trump referenced McMahon's two-year time on the Connecticut Board of Education as well as her 16-year tenure on the board of trustees of Sacred Heart University, a private Catholic school.
McMahon left WWE in 2009 to run unsuccessfully for the US Senate, and he has been a significant fundraiser to Trump.She has served as chair of the Center For The American Worker at the Trump-aligned America First Policy Institute since 2021.?
During the election campaign, Trump promised to abolish the federal education department whenever he returned to the White House.
In 2017, she was confirmed as the head of the Small Business Administration, which is in charge of assisting America's millions of small businesses, which employ over half of the country's private-sector employment.
Trump cited her business skills, including her contributions to the growth of the WWE, as the reason for her nomination.After leaving the administration, she became chair of the pro-Trump America First Action SuperPAC, or political action organization.
