People like to be reckless at times but this level of putting yourself in danger is super scary. In a bone-chilling incident, a man was captured on camera swimming next to an alligator and almost getting attacked. Well, no shit.
The short clip was posted by the Twitter handle When Animals Attack. Needless to say, they shared the careless act of the person with the same question you have on your mind right now: 'Why would you even go in there?'
In the video, a man can be seen floating in the water next to a large platform. There is an alligator right next to the man and the big reptile comes extremely close to the man. It then tries to bite the man's shoulder and that is when he screams and gets back on the platform.

Of course, netizens were absolutely horrified at what happened because it was an extremely reckless thing to do. The video has gone viral on the micro-blogging website and has been viewed more than 100,000 times.
People took to the comments section and simply pointed out the obvious and most even made fun of the man for putting himself in such a dangerous situation. While one user was sarcastic and wrote, 'Now that's a surprise; I'd never have thought that might happen', another one simply commented, 'What did he think was going to happen'.
Here are some more reactions:
However, not all alligators like to bite but we would still won't suggest anyone swimming with them. Back in August, an adorable video of an alligator named Seven had gone viral on social media where the poor reptile got embarrassed because he failed to catch his food that was being dropped in his mouth by his caretaker.?
The cutesy video showed the alligator-keeper, Chris, holding up a piece of chicken for Seven, but the moment the alligator tries to eat, he misses and the meat falls on the ground instead.?The alligator feels embarrassed and walks straight into the water. However, after much persuasion, he comes back to get his meal.
The caption of the video also dished out certain details about Seven. It read, 'Seven is green in this video, that¡¯s just an algae accumulation from the pump being broken that week, it¡¯s totally normal and does not affect the gators in any way. They have it in the wild all the time. But it does bring up the point, there are actually NO GREEN GATORS!! even though they¡¯re portrayed green in every cartoon and animation, they do not have green skin! Black, gray, yellows, oranges in their patterns, but no green. The only green you¡¯ll see is from algae like this (sic)'.
