Just like Tour de France, this competition is extremely gruelling and has several stages. However, this year, the length has been shortened to 18-stage format due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
But even 18 stages of non-stop cycling is enough to?physically alter the appearance of any seasoned cyclist. For 35-year-old Jos¨¦ Joaqu¨ªn Rojas, it turned his legs freaky and 'Hulk-like'.
Rojas shared a photograph of his legs on Instagram with the caption: 'Preparado para la Etapa 8 de la @lavuelta.'
The picture was clicked after the seventh stage which means Rojas had to cycle 11 more stages. His fellow pro cyclists reacted with shock and awe; the picture has collected over 10,000 likes and hundreds of reactions from Instagram users.
Back in 2019, Jose had posted a similar picture of his legs after Stage 13 of the Tour of Italy race.
