Firing employees is one of the hardest tasks employers and bosses have to do, simply because they do not know or cannot guess how the former might react. One firing attempt went terribly wrong for a Ferrari-owner who faced the wrath of his disgruntled employee.?
As an act of vengeance, the Illinois?shipping business owner's Italian supercar, Ferrari GTC4Lusso, the successor to the super Ferrari FF, was destroyed by the angry employee following a disagreement.
Apparently the newly hired driver was ¡®not deemed fit (or stable) for the job¡¯ and after being told that he rammed a Volvo truck into his boss¡¯ Ferrari.?
The incident occurred in Chicago, USA and the images of the now sad and unfortunate looking Ferrari are going viral on social media.?
¡®This driver was promised a 2020 truck but he was not producing enough to get a 2020 truck so he was denied the new truck¡ He got mad and slammed the truck on the owners car out of anger !!! I seen the actual video with voice and is on video the whole incident!¡¯ someone with the initials C.B., an Illinois driver, wrote on a Facebook post on United Truckers. Social media posts claim that the driver was promised a new 2020 semi-truck if he met a certain quota, but he failed to meet it.
Angry at being denied the truck, the driver used the Volvo to drive it over the Ferrari.?
However, MotorTrend reports, ¡®After trying in earnest to keep his job, and despite the trucking company's amicable attempts to part ways and fully compensate the man, the fired driver calmly asked the owner if the Ferrari was his car¡¯,?MotorTrend reports.?
The owner confirmed that indeed it was his to which the trucker reportedly replied, "Now you'll see what happens when you mess with me."
What actually happened is now for the entire world to see - the mangled remains of Ferrari GTC4Lusso.?
The driver was later arrested.
This sure must scare a lot of employers who are having to fire a lot of workers because of economic slowdown owing to coronavirus. The times are not easy for anyone. Even though the driver got his impulsive revenge, he was arrested and nothing good came out of the incident for him or the Ferrari owner.?
