In a horrific incident reported from the Madhya Pradesh capital, a six-year-old boy was reportedly mauled to death by a pack of six stray dogs in the city. The incident took place on Friday evening in Shiv Sangam Nagar, police said.
According to a TOI report, Sanjiu was busy playing in a playground, located only 300 metres away from his home. Just when his mother stepped out of house looking for him, she saw him surrounded by the strays.

The child was rushed to the nearest hospital but was declared dead on arrival.?Local residents blamed the Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) for the stray dog menace. Awadhpuri police inspector M L Bhati said they have contacted the BMC officials, who have launched a drive against stray dogs on a large scale.
