In a bizarre incident, a?newly-married man has complained to police that he was beaten up by an acquaintance for not inviting the latter to his wedding in Madhya Pradesh's Bhind district.?
The?incident took place in Chandupura village under Dehat police station area on Sunday night, PTI reported. Police registered an FIR?against the accused, Narendra Kushwaha, on Monday.?
The 22-year-old victim in his police complaint alleged that Kushwaha beat him up as he was angry with him after the latter wasn't invited to his wedding,?Dehat police station's head constable Radheshyam Sharma told PTI.
The victim had told the accused that since the marriage was solemnised during the coronavirus-induced restrictions, only family members were present during the ceremony.?
However, this didn't go down well with Kushwaha, who allegedly thrashed and abused the victim on Sunday.?
Since the accused was not invited to the marriage, he demanded???500 from the victim to buy liquor. The victim, on his part,?gave Rs 100 to the accused, but he continued to thrash him while asking for more money.?
Later, the victim somehow managed to escape from the spot to save his life, the report said.?The man received injuries in his eyes and other body parts, a police official said.?An FIR was registered against the accused who is on run.
In an unrelated incident, a video went viral on social media showing?a disheartened girl outside a wedding venue, calling out her?ex-boyfriend?who was apparently getting married to someone else at that venue.?
The incident took place in Madhya Pradesh¡¯s Hoshangabad where the girl who is from Kanpur was barred from entering the wedding venue and kept screaming 'Babu babu' as words of endearment to call her ex-boyfriend.? ?
The woman claimed that she had been in a live-in relationship with the boy for the last three years. The couple worked at a private firm in Bhopal.? ??
However, despite all the screaming and crying, the woman's efforts fell on deaf ears as she had to be escorted away by the police without even getting to meet the boy.? ?
