But for David Garcia, the combination of freshly baked pizza, that on the streams of molten lava is nothing less than an ultimate adventure and in disguise, an opportunity.??
Making the best of the situation, Garcia has decided to bake pizza on the smouldering ashes of Guatemala's Pacaya volcano that has been simmering for some time now.
According to an AFP report, the volcano in Guatemala has been simmering since February and is continuously spewing molten lava. It is one of three active ones in Guatemala and is located just 25 km from the capital city.?

The fact that it is an active volcano is not deterring daredevil Garcia who thought of cashing this opportunity by offering "Pacaya Pizza" to tourists who are willing to climb up the massive volcano.
Interestingly, Garcia has made the volcanic site his makeshift kitchen and has started to make pizza.?
In the video, he can be seen spreading the dough in the tray, adding tomato sauce and cheese and keeping it for baking on the volcano ashes. Some time into it and voila, the pizza is ready.

He is later seen enjoying the pizza with other people on the island.?By professional account, Garcia said that he came up with the idea of baking pizza a few years ago. But then he didn¡¯t sell many. But this time the idea took off.?
"Many people today come to enjoy the experience of eating pizza made on volcanic heat," Garcia told AFP.?
"It's ridiculous just thinking that you're going to eat something cooked on lava, but it's something that you can see only here" in Guatemala, said Kelt Van Meurs, a Dutch visitor.
