But a man from Noida got so furious that his dinner was late that he killed his wife with a tawa. That's right! The man killed his wife with the utensil used to make chapatis just because he didn't get them on time.?
The incident was?reported from Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar in Uttar Pradesh. Police rushed to the scene and said that the accused had hit his wife on the head with the 'tawa' leading to her death.?
According to the police, the accused has been identified as Anuj Kumar, a native of Bihar. The incident however took place at Shramik Kunj at Mamura in Sector 66 under Phase 3 police station.
According to a report by PTI, Anuj, who is an autorickshaw driver was arrested by the local police?when he was near the Sector 59 Metro Station on Tuesday.
"On Monday, Kumar had returned home but soon an argument broke?out between them over the delay in preparation of the dinner.?The husband got enraged to the extent that he used a tawa?to hit his wife Khushbu on her head, leading to her death," a police spokesperson told the Times Of India.?
Phase 3 police station in-charge Vijay Kumar said the husband-wife duo hailed from Bihar and lived here with a five-year-old son.?
An FIR was lodged in the matter when local residents alerted the police. Anuj has been booked under Section 302 (murder). Police said further investigation is underway in the case.
