Winter ushers in the holiday and wedding seasons. While some people are planning vacations or getting into the holiday spirit, others are attending weddings. Buffets are becoming common at most weddings, where guests can choose from a variety of food items.?
?However, a video recently surfaced online in which guests at a wedding were required to make their own chappatis?leaving viewers perplexed.
On December 1, the purportedly never-before-seen video was released on X (previously known as Twitter). "Is there a new trend in big parties?" "Make your own roti," stated the post's caption.?
The video depicts a wedding setting with two middle-aged men making rotis on a nonstick tawa. They have a dish full of food in one hand and are preparing the rotis with the other. One advantage of toasting chapatis your way is that you can decide how crispy and fluffy they become.
The textual structure of the video footage reads, "Bhool gaya tha shaadi mei aaya huun. Yaha toh khana banaya milta hai (I forgot I was going to a wedding. I have to cook my own food here.)"?
The post's comment area was filled with hilarious replies, with many people finding such a customisable buffet option odd. "Next level: banquet halls will have only groceries, stove, and dinnerware," one person predicted about wedding buffets and banquet rooms. "Just fry it and eat it!"?
"Are you going to a party and preparing your own roti?" Seriously?? Then stay at home and eat home-cooked food," another disgruntled user suggested.?
Someone another said, "Washing your own plates and spoons will be interesting." Another person referred to the arrangement as a "customer-friendly initiative."?
