Kevin, a TikToker who's also a member of the cabin crew, shared his thoughts on a Reddit thread discussing the undisclosed truths about flight attendants. He didn't mince words, expressing his distaste for aeroplane coffee and labelling it "disgusting."

In his video, Kevin said, “The fact that the tanks rarely get cleaned that the water is in should be the least of your concern.” He added, “For me, it’s always been the way that flight attendants have to clean out coffee pots.”

The reason why Kevin wanted people to skip the airplane coffee was that, according to his experience, the attendants dump out the java into the toilet, and get a little too close for comfort to the bowl. He continued, “I imagine that there’s some kind of backsplash of particles, bacteria, whatever that goes directly back into the coffee pot, which gets put right back into the coffee maker.”

He humorously mentioned that unless the plane boasts a Nespresso machine, he'd steer clear of ordering a cup of joe onboard.
