It¡¯s been exactly 11 days since the consecration ceremony of the spectacular Ram Mandir took place In Ayodhya. While the world is swooning over the beauty of both the temple and the Ram Lalla idol, a big chunk of the citizens managed to pay a visit to the temple and do darshan from close quarters.?
25 lakh devotees have visited the Ram Janmabhoomi in 11 days and almost Rs 8 crore has been deposited in the donation boxes. Further, Rs 3.50 crore have been donated online.??
As per office in-charge of the temple trust, Prakash Gupta, an average of 2 lakh devotees visit? the Ram temple every day to do the darshan of Ram Lalla.
He further added that in the temple's sanctum sanctorum, four big size donation boxes have been kept near the 'darshan path' in which the devotees donate the amount.?Besides, people also donate at 10 computerised counters. He said that the temple trust employees are appointed at the donation counter and they submit the account of the donation amount received in the trust office after the counter is closed in the evening.
The daily routine includes a team of 14 people - 11 bank employees and three personnel from the trust, count the offerings received in the four boxes. The entire activity is conducted under the surveillance of CCTV cameras.?
