Not just food, Zomato delivery partners have now been trained to provide medical assistance during roadside emergencies. Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal took to X to share that over 20,000 partners across 31 cities are now fully equipped as first responders.?
Goyal said that over 1,00,000 delivery partners have volunteered to undergo professional first-responder training, driven solely by their dedication. He emphasized the accomplishments of the company's 'Emergency Heroes' program, marking India's pioneering effort to equip delivery partners as professional first responders.
"Few months back, we launched India¡¯s first ¡®Emergency Heroes¡¯ programme to provide professional first-responder training to our delivery partners. Happy to announce that we now have 20,000+ delivery partners across 31 cities, fully equipped to provide medical aid in roadside emergencies,¡± Goyal wrote.

He further added, "Empowered with the training, our delivery partners have already extended help and medical aid in several roadside emergencies."
