Hollywood Legend Sylvester Stallone's Rs 62 Crore Watch Collection Up For Auction
Sylvester Stallone Watch Auction: Hollywood icon Sylvester Stallone is set to auction some of his luxury watches from his prized collection. The auction, taking place on June 5 in New York, will feature 11 of the "Rocky" actor-writer's watches. Among the highlights is the Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime, considered the "holy grail" for watch enthusiasts, expected to fetch a staggering $5 million at Sotheby's auction.
This exclusive watch, one of only seven ever made, has 20 features, including five chiming mechanisms and a date repeater that announces both the time and date audibly.
Other watches in Stallone's collection include a Patek Philippe Nautilus with an olive-green dial and 32 Wesselton baguette diamonds, which is expected to sell for up to $400,000.
The auction also includes watches Stallone wore on-screen, such as a Rolex marking the 60th anniversary of a classic model and an Audemars Piguet masterpiece with a blue face and pink gold case.
Stallone, now 77, developed a passion for collecting watches after seeing musician Gregg Allman's distinctive gold watch after filming Rocky (1976). Since then, he has been a keen watch collector.

Sylvester Stallone is one of the most influential watch collectors of the past 30 years. In the mid-'90s, he fell in love with Panerai, collaborated with the brand, and started giving its large watches to friends like Arnold Schwarzenegger. Now, Stallone is auctioning off 11 pieces from his collection through Sotheby¡¯s in June. This auction includes watches Stallone wore in movies like The Expendables 2, with the crown jewel being a hidden piece revealed for the first time.
For the first time, a Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime 6300 is up for sale. Stallone never wore this watch, and it's still in its original packaging. Patek¡¯s 6300 is a highly complex watch, considered a holy grail. Variations of it have been seen on the wrists of celebrities like Jay-Z and have set records for the most expensive watch ever sold at $31 million in 2019. Stallone¡¯s watch is a 6300G-010 made of white gold, featuring five different chiming modes, including a grande sonnerie, petite sonnerie, and an alarm.

A smaller collection of Stallone¡¯s watches was auctioned in 2020, which included a single Panerai and four Richard Mille watches, selling for a total of $3.1 million. The highlight was the Panerai Luminor he wore in Daylight, which sold for $214,200.

- Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon 50th Anniversary ($100,000 to $200,000): Featuring a smoky dial.
- Panerai Reference Luminor Submersible 1950 Chrono ¡®Slytech¡¯ PAM00202 ($6,000 to $12,000): Part of the "Slytech" line.
- Rolex Reference 228235 Day-Date ($25,000 to $50,000): With Rolex¡¯s signature green on the dial.
