One of the latest celebrities to try his hand at Tequila is The Rock. He launched his brand Mana in the year 2020. The name Mana means supernatural, spiritual essence in humans, animals and objects, as per Polynesian culture. In 2018, a trademark application for this new Tequila company was submitted, which was unfortunately rejected for being too similar to other products bearing the name. However, Dwayne did not give up, and later showed off batches of Tequila he was sampling ¡°straight out of our barrels in Mexico.¡±, naming the brand as Teremana. It is apparently an ultra-premium small batch, highlands tequila crafted in a small town in Jalisco, Mexico. He aims for 1 million case sales this year.
UK Singer Rita Ora launched her award winning Tequila brand Pr¨®spero in 2019, after joining forces with spirits marketing firm Conecuh Brands. Rita is a shareholder and creative director in the brand, which is produced at the Don Roberto Distillery in Jalisco by Stella Anguiano. The popstar hopes to push boundaries in this industry with her brand.
Nick Jonas, the hugely popular US Singer-songwriter and menswear designer John Varvatos partnered with the Stoli Group to launch Villa One into market in 2019. It competes with the super-premium Tequila sphere alongside the likes of Patr¨®n and Casamigos. Made available nationwide from 2020 for sale, Jonas' Villa One tequila, unlike others, sources 100% blue weber agave from both the Highland and Lowland regions of Jalisco, Mexico.?

Launched in 2017, Santo Mezquila was created as a cross between Tequila and Mezcal by singers Adam Levine and Sammy Hagar, who couldn¡¯t agree whether to make Tequila or mezcal, so compromised by mixing the two together and discovered that they actually liked the taste! They have been the first ones to launch such a product that blends Tequila and mezcal in this way.
Besides already releasing wine, beer, a bourbon and cola RTD in the past, ageing rockers AC/DC, who had formed the Australian band way back in 1973 in Sydney, took up another big step in the drinks industry through their new venture. They released silver, reposado and A?ejo variants of Thunderstruck Tequila in 2016, presumably named after their 1990 hit single Thunderstruck.
One of the biggest stars of Hollywood George Clooney founded the Casamigos brand in 2013, with his friend Rande Gerber and property developer Mike Meldman. After purchasing adjacent houses in Mexico, this trio went on a Tequila odyssey to create a spirit that was both smooth and hangover-free. Initially for two years the drink was consumed exclusively by Clooney and Gerber¡¯s friends and family. But when they managed to get through 1000 bottles each year, they were forced to get a license for the product and then sold it to the public in 2013. In 2011, this famous American country singer forayed into the tequila craze by opting for mezcal named ¨C Wild Shot Mezcal. Each bottle reportedly comes complete with a small worm, which Keith insists must be ingested. Earlier,? Keith had written about Mexico in his songs, and was keen to bring mezcal to a wider audience, and hence launched his own brand.

It has three varieties: blanco, reposado and a?ejo, which has already accumulated awards from the World Tequila Awards and International Wine & Spirits Competition, among others. As per Kendall, it took her four years and dozens of blind taste tests to arrive at this perfect product which she wishes to make everyone taste and love.

The US rapper , also known as Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, Diddy, and Sean Combs bought 50% of premium Tequila brand DeLe¨®n in the year 2014. The other 50% still? remains with Diageo. Before DeLe¨®n came up, Combs was previously the face of Diageo¡¯s C?roc vodka and helped increase its sales to 40 fold. And with Combs easily topping Forbes¡¯ list of the highest paid musicians, it¡¯s reasonable to believe that DeLe¨®n is doing quite well. Apparently Combs¡¯ Sean John clothing line as well as musical career might have lent a helping hand too.
