TCS is looking to absorb the war-hit Ukrainian talent at its centres in cities like Budapest, while Infosys said it had launched a programme to skill up to 25,000 such people and welcome such talent to their Poland centre, the report stated.

TCS, which is India¡¯s largest software services firm by revenue, is exploring ways to support people from Ukraine because the depth of technical knowledge is very high in these regions, said a TCS source.?
¡°We are also exploring how we can increase capacity in centres like Budapest (Hungary) as we are seeing a lot of people from Ukraine being absorbed across these neighbouring regions,¡± the TCS source reportedly said.
TCS has had large clients shutting down their operations in Russia and is now looking for talent elsewhere, the source added.
Bengaluru-based Infosys has initiated a programme to skill displaced technology professionals in the region.
¡°We are supporting the skilling of any of the individuals impacted, up to 25,000 people from Ukraine,¡± Salil Parekh, CEO of Infosys, reportedly told ET last week.
