Elon Musk Shows What A Zero-Emission Future Will Look Like With This Image
A recent picture shared by Tesla CEO Elon Musk will be the perfect sum up. On Sunday Musk tweeted a picture of a Tesla semi-truck delivering Tesla cars. The image perfectly depicts a zero-emission future for transportation.
Internal combustion engines are on their way out and electric drivetrains are taking over the transportation needs worldwide. With zero emissions, they look like the only option for a sustainable future. And in case you would want to have a look at what a sustainable future will look like, a recent picture shared by Tesla CEO Elon Musk will be the perfect sum up.
On Sunday, Musk tweeted a picture of a Tesla semi-truck delivering Tesla cars. Now, to get an idea of how this image perfectly depicts a zero-emission future, consider that all the vehicles in the picture are electric. That means four cars, which will practically produce zero emissions throughout their lifetime, are being carried by a truck that follows suit - no spitting of carbon and other toxic releases into the environment whatsoever, provided renewable sources are used to recharge them through their lifetime.

For those unaware, Tesla had unveiled its all-electric Tesla semi truck back in November 2017. At the time, the US automaker had confirmed that the zero-emission truck will be launched late in 2019. While no updates on its production are out yet, the photo by Musk confirms that the prototypes of the electric vehicle are already under testing.
Tesla actually solves two purposes with this. In March this year, Tesla had issued $13 million worth of stocks to buy trucks and trailers that will deliver its electric vehicles to customers. The move followed the increased production of Model 3 and the corresponding increased deliveries. With the semi-truck entering a testing phase, Tesla can now save up on its delivery expenses while testing the prototypes for the production model of Tesla semi.

Though the idea is still being tested right now, going forward, it will be a real emission-less push in the automobile industry on every front. And true to its purpose, Tesla will be a real image of an emission-less future for transportation.
