Some may be happy predictions, some strange and others a little worrying. They might not necessarily true, but definitely intriguing. These are top 11 insane predictions for this year:

1. World War III could happen

Nostradamus - the guy who 'accurately predicted' the rise of Hitler and the 9/11 terror attacks - predicted some things for 2018 too. According to Alessandro Bruno, who wrote on Lmbardiletter.com: "The Nostradamus predictions for 2018 are dire, as they include what might become World War III.

2. China will become the world's next "super power"

Baba Vanga, known as the Nostradamus of the Balkans, foresaw two world-changing events for 2018. According to her, China will become the world's next "super power", taking over from the US and ¡°a new form of energy¡± will be discovered on Venus.

One of Nigeria's popular entertainer-turned-activist, CharlyBoy has joined the ranks of religious leaders who have given their prophesies for 2018. According to him Boko Haram will lay down their arms and organise a peace concert. And one Internet user is convinced that Trump is part of the flat earth society and this is the year Trump will reveal it.
