The kid keeps jumping until the moment it is standing tall - and proud - on the stool that posed quite a challenge.

Some folks on Twitter, however, saw it as child abuse.

I like the msg but I wish it wasn't a child. No pressure should be put on a child. My 2 cents opinion.

C'mon.. this is such a valuable lesson for a parent to teach a child. To have them experience failure & show them it doesn't matter how many times you fail, if you keep trying you'll succeed. She knows that now. Lot of parents just put their kids in front of a TV or iPad

That is true, but to me it seemed that she really wanted to do it and he was encouraging her. I believe if she was being forced into it, she would have been hesitating and/or crying. :)

if you see the girls legs they're very well toned clearly this is something they do as a hobby or fun they must be a very athletic family or else her reaction wouldnt have been as great if that wasn't a goal she wasn't trying to accomplish
