1. French Fries With The Highest Price: $200
A $200 plate of fries called Creme de la Creme Pommes Frites at Serendipity3 on Manhattan's Upper East Side has become a Guinness World Record.
The ingredients list for the dish includes truffle butter, organic A2 A2 100% grass-fed cream from Jersey cows, truffle butter, chipper beck potatoes, Dom Perignon Champagne, J. LeBlanc French Champagne Ardenne Vinegar, cage-free goose fat from France, Guerande Truffle Salt, truffle oil, and Crete Senesi Pecorino Tartufello cheese.
There's also a topping of 23-karat edible gold dust.
2. Sandwich With The Most Expensive Price Is $214
A $214 "Quintessential Grilled Cheese" was one of the world records that Serendipity3 achieved.
The sandwich is gilded in 24-carat gold and consists of slices of Caciocavallo Podolico cheese between layers of French Pullman champagne bread, which is made with Dom Perignon Champagne and covered in butter made from the grass-fed white truffle.
3. A Crab Cake That Costs $310 Is The Most Expensive
The formula for what became known as the most expensive crab cake in the world was created by chef Lazarius Ken Leysath Walker of The Twist restaurant in Columbia, South Carolina.
King crab meat, butter, herbs, black truffles, platinum dust, and leaves are all featured in this sumptuous seafood dish.
4. It Costs $6,696 To Buy The Most Expensive Ice Cream
Japanese dessert company Cellato created the flavour Byakuya, which sells for an astounding $6,696 per serving.
A rare white truffle cultivated in Alba, Italy, which sells for roughly $6,905 per pound, is one of the expensive treat's ingredients. Sake lees and Parmigiano Reggiano are also included.
5. The Most Expensive Cheese Costs $32,000
Produced by Guillermo Pend¨¢s at his family's Los Puertos factory, this 4.8-pound wheel of blue cheese won first prize in the 51st annual Cabrales Cheese Competition in Las Arenas.
It went up for auction for an unprecedented $32,000.
Aged in the Asturian mountain caves, the cheese holds the record for being the most expensive cheese ever sold at auction.
