Fans React to James Cameron's Sci-fi Family Saga
Many left hateful comments after the release of the trailer of the Avatar sequel. "Nobody fell in love with Avatar because of the story. It was because it was the first real movie to be shot FOR 3D, start to finish. And that was mind blowing at the time. Now, I could give a crap about 3D or Avatar. Too long of a gap to make the impact they think it will," wrote a user on social media.
Another said, "Can¡¯t believe people still care about this franchise. I thought it was quietly canceled years ago. Probably not gonna watch it. I couldn¡¯t remember much of the first movie 2 weeks after watching it, and I don¡¯t care enough to remind myself of the mediocre plot of a vfx showcase."
However, some were quite elated that James Cameron's magnum opus is returning to the theatres. "I¡¯ve waited 13 years. This is gonna hit even harder than the first?," wrote a fan of the Avatar franchise.

i don¡¯t get the hype. The first one has the most forgettable names with an unoriginal plot, yet somehow was ¡°ahead of its timel
