Ever since news of Irrfan Khan¡¯s son Babil following in his father¡¯s footsteps broke, fans of the late actor have been waiting with bated breath to see him carry forward his legacy.
A while ago it was revealed that Babil Khan will be making his acting debut with Netflix film Qala, which will be helmed by Anvitaa Dutt of Bulbbul fame.

Interestingly, Babil recently announced that he has completed filming for another project which is an upcoming series titled The Railway Men.

For the unversed, the Bhopal disaster occurred on the fateful night of December 2 and 3, 1984, after 45 tons of the gas methyl isocyanate escaped from a plant owned by a subsidiary of the U.S.-based Union Carbide Corporation. investigations were carried out, it was found that substandard operating and safety procedures at the understaffed plant led to the catastrophe.

According to reports, an estimated 15,000 to 20,000 people died as a result of the disaster, and over 500,000 survivors suffered respiratory problems, blindness, and other health problems.
Babil took to his instagram and posted a wrap-up video from the sets. The production began in December last year.
A few weeks ago, Babil had shared an emotional post remembering father Irrfan along with a moving note.
Sharing a picture of Irrfan on Instagram, Babil wrote how he is not ready to move on. ¡°Dear baba, I¡¯m trying to remember that perfume you wore, when we travelled north to watch lights dance in Norway. I remember exactly, the feeling of your smell, but I can¡¯t remember the materialism of it. I remember the sensation on my fingertips when you spread my palms to tell my fortunes but it frightens me to forget your playful pinch on my nostrils. I have begged, and I have cried to the heavens, to let not my body forget yet; for my soul is not ready to forfeit. I am not ready to move on, and I am alright with the idea that possibly I will never be, we were never governed by logic."
He further added, "You and I, singular and cosmic. Everything is, and yet it is not; You¡¯re a perfect teardrop in my asylum. I was mindful and yet I forgot, my intonations of violence. You still breathe, in my thoughts; and our institutions of madness. I miss that, what I fought; your explorations of silence. A creation of yours, Babil.¡±
The ¡®Railway Men¡¯ is touted to release in December this year.
