People across the globe have been praising the most recent movie, Jaane Jaan.

In some ways, the Kareena Kapoor movie satisfied the public's need for thrill. The movie depicts a mother's (Kareena Kapoor) attempt to shield her daughter from her violent husband and during this fight ends up murdering him. Later, a neighbor (Jaideep Ahlawat), who is in love with her, comes to her aid.

The Devotion of Suspect X, which has been translated into numerous languages, is Keigo Higashino's most well-known work to date. This comprises English, Tamil, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, and, as of recently, Hindi. The movie was recreated in Tamil as Kolaigaran, with Vijay Antony playing the protagonist.

Who Is Keigo Higashino And What Are His Other Works?

Japanese author Keigo Higashino is best known for his mystery books. From 2009 until 2013, he presided over Mystery Writers of Japan as its thirteenth president. Major Japanese honors have been given to Higashino for his novels.

In Jaane Jaan¡¯s end we see how Naren covers up for Maya and takes the blame on his head. However, the book says a little different. In the book, Yasuko turns herself to the police confessing the deed.
While people must be expecting the same ending as the book, looks like the different ending worked for Jaane Jaan.

Devotion of Suspect X Story Summary

Misato's mother, Yasuko Hanaoka, is a divorced single woman. She is employed by a bento shop. Tetsuya Ishigami, Yasuko's neighbor, is an accomplished math instructor. They like each other, but they don't talk about it. Togashi, Yasuko's ex-husband, approaches her and demands money one day. As a result of his threats, there is domestic violence. The mother and daughter ultimately kill Togashi. Tetsuya aids with the burial of the body. Yasuko becomes Detective Shunpei Kusanagi's top suspect as he investigates the case of Missing Togashi. He assigns the case to Dr. Manabu Yukawa. It's interesting that Manabu and Tetsuya attended the same university.

Tetsuya eventually caves and admits that he was suicidal because of his extreme melancholy. He met Yasuko and Misato at that time and immediately connected with them. Tetsuya also murdered a homeless man who was not involved in the murder of Togashi. After realizing Tetsuya is bearing the blame for Yasuko and her daughter, Manabu confronts Yasuko. Tetsuya wishes Yasuko and Misato would be able to go on, but when they are no longer able to handle their guilt, they give up and join Tetsuya in serving their sentences, leaving the three of them inconsolable.
