HIT: The Third Case OTT Release: Nani is all set to return with the third installment of his HIT Universe and the sequel to HIT: The Second Case (2022). Scheduled to debut theatrically on 1st May, 2025, the Telugu thriller recently locked its OTT deal. According to OTTPlay, Netflix has bought the streaming rights of HIT: The Third Case for Rs 54 crore and will be streaming it after its big screen run concludes.

Other than Nani, the actioner also stars Srinidhi Shetty, Surya Srinivas, Adil Pala, Rao Ramesh, Adarsh Balakrishna, Brahmaji, Ravi Mariya and Maganti Srinath among others. Written and directed by Sailesh Kolanu, HIT: The Third Case is produced by Prashanti Tipirneni and Nani, under Wall Poster Cinema and Unanimous Productions.
This Mickey J. Meyer musical is cinematographed by Sanu John Varghese and edited by Karthika Srinivas. HIT: The Third Case was officially announced in December 2022, with principal photography beginning in September 2024. The shooting took place in Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, and Jammu and Kashmir.

The film’s premise suggests that Arjun Sarkaar, an SP with the HIT team in Visakhapatnam, is tasked with a critical case in Jammu and Kashmir to apprehend a group of serial killers responsible for the horrific murders of multiple individuals. HIT 3 is the most expensive film of Nani's career, boasting a production budget of ?64 crore. With the OTT rights deal covering nearly 90% of its budget, the film is already in a profitable position.
