Superboys of Malegaon OTT Release Date: Reema KagtiĄ¯s latest directorial has earned massive appreciation from both critics and audiences. After being premiered at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival, this slice-of-life film was released theatrically on 28th February. Starring Adarsh Gourav, Vineet Kumar Singh, and Shashank Arora, Superboys of Malegaon is available for rent at Rs 349 on Prime Video since April 11, 2025.
For the ones wondering when to watch it for free (Prime Video subscribers), Superboys of Malegaon will be streaming seamlessly starting April 25, 2025.
Superboys of MalegaonĄ¯s plot overview
Inspired by the 2008 documentary Supermen of Malegaon, the film follows a group of guys from a small Indian town called Malegaon who really love movies. They decide to make their own funny version of a Superman movie, called "Malegaon ka Superman." They donĄ¯t have much money or fancy equipment, but theyĄ¯re super creative and passionate.
The film shows how they shoot scenes in their neighborhoods, make costumes out of everyday stuff, and come up with clever tricks to create special effects. Even though they face a lot of challenges like power cuts, health issues, and budget problems, they keep going because they love what they do. ItĄ¯s a fun and heartwarming story about chasing your dreams irrespective of all constraints.

Other than the lead trio, the film also starred Anuj Singh Duhan, Riddhi Kumar, Saqib Ayub, Gyanendra Tripathi, Muskkaan Jaferi, Anmol Kajani, Manjiri Pupala, Pallav Singh and Abhinav Grover among others. Written by Varun Grover, Superboys of Malegaon is produced by Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby Films. This Sachin-Jigar musical is cinematographed by Swapnil S. Sonawane.
