Using the Engie-Bogie approach, it was possible to sandwich a paid smarter student between two less intellectual ones so that the latter could repeat the former's responses.

Basically, in layman¡¯s language, it is a technique for exam cheating that involves selecting brilliant students¡ªreferred to as ¡®Engines¡¯ as solving candidates so that their answers may be copied by the recipients termed as ¡®Bogies¡¯ that would sit behind them.

How Is Shiksha Mandal Different From Crash Course?

Shiksha Mandal is based in Madhya Pradesh, specifically in the cities of Bhopal and Indore, much like the actual event. In the nine-episode series, the pressure on young people to pass medical entrance exams and compete with one another is explored.

Although the series Crash Course is centred in Kota and features IIT aspirants, it tells the tale of an educational scam that was inspired by a real-life incident. Unlike Shiksha Mandal, Crash Course focuses on the rivalry between two institutions and the unsavoury politics that affect the students that attend them. Education is turned into a business for leeches that only know sucking blood and making the lives miserable for the students.

As the audience did, it would be appropriate to compare Crash Course to Kota Factory because it concentrated more on that aspect than on the dishonest nature of the Vyapam education scam. It wouldn't be incorrect to state that it was only loosely based on the 1990s scam's truth.

Aditya Rai, the owner of a training facility for medical students, is introduced in the first episode of the Shiksha Mandal series. And the top student at his tutoring facility is his sister Vidya Rai, who is portrayed by Iram Badar Khan. Despite being the top student and receiving a high score, she is worried about her entrance exam results.

The thrilling element of his sister going missing and the existence of a specialised search squad for her was quickly added to the series. His sister's disappearance appears to be related to the examination scam. Officer Anuradha, played by Gauahar Khan, is in charge of the Special Task Force squad, which is looking into Vidya's inexplicable disappearance.

A story wouldn't have a hero without a villain

In this case, the villain is a network of powerful politicians and criminals headed by the vicious Dhansu Yadav, played by Pavan Malhotra.

The show's plot is its strongest point. The first two episodes create a lot of anticipation and promise excitement. But because there are no explanations for Aditya's sister's disappearance, he loses faith in the police and starts looking for his sister on his own. We discover as the plot develops and during the investigation that Vidya was kidnapped by Mafia boss Dhansu.

As always, Pavan Malhotra is wonderful. He has mastered the MP lingo and manages to look both frightening and charming at the same time. He portrays the persona of the merciless Mafia King Dhansu Yadav as a man with multiple layers and a grey shade to his skin. Pavan makes his character feel distinctive from the other similar characters we've seen before.

Like always, Gulshan Devaiah is in excellent shape and continues his winning streak. He lends life to situations with emotional components while playing the role of a big brother of a missing sister.

Iram Badar Khan, Rajendra Sethi, Kumar Saurabh, Navdeep Singh, and the rest of the characters advance the plot.
