Wolf Man OTT Release Date: If you love horror but prefer your scares at home snuggled under a blanket with the lights off, then here¡¯s some good news: Wolf Man is coming to streaming! This modern werewolf story, starring Christopher Abbott and Julia Garner, is set to release on Peacock on April 18. If you missed it in theatres, now¡¯s your chance to catch it right from your couch.
What¡¯s Wolf Man all about?
Wolf Man is a horror film, but it¡¯s also about family, fear, and trying not to become the worst version of yourself. The story starts in the ¡®90s with a little boy named Blake, who¡¯s raised by a wild, paranoid father in the forests of Oregon. Fast forward to today, Blake is now grown up, living in New York, and a dad himself. But things take a dark turn when he starts feeling... different. Animal instincts. Strange behavior. The full moon. Yeah, you get the idea.
He¡¯s not just dealing with old childhood trauma anymore, but he might actually be turning into a werewolf.
Wolf Man¡¯s cast and crew
The movie stars Christopher Abbott (you might know him from Catch-22 or Girls) as Blake. Julia Garner (from Ozark and Inventing Anna) plays his wife Charlotte. Supporting the main cast are some solid names like Sam Jaeger (Parenthood). Will Catlett (A Thousand and One) and Chris Bauer (True Blood). Wolf Man is directed by The Invisible Man (2020) fame Leigh Whannell. He also co-created the Saw series, so yeah, the man knows how to do creepy.
Produced by Blumhouse, the same team behind Paranormal Activity, The Purge, and Get Out, the film couldn¡¯t do well at the box office. Now, if you're in the mood for something spooky, moody, and a little emotional, mark your calendar for April 18. Turn off the lights, grab your snacks, and let Wolf Man do its thing.
Just¡ maybe don¡¯t watch it alone if the full moon¡¯s out.
