¡®Woh Mere Ko Miss Karti Hai¡¯, Ashneer Grover Reacts To Namita Thapar¡¯s ¡®No More Toxicity¡¯ Remark

Entrepreneur Ashneer Grover shot to fame with his stint as an investor on Shark Tank season 1. Grover who didn¡¯t return to the show¡¯s second season went on to give strong statements about it and parallelly received back a strong defence from other sharks who remained on the show.

In an earlier interview, Namita indirectly took a dig at Ashneer¡¯s absence in season 2 and made a remark that went viral.

While interacting with comedian Tanmay Bhatt, Namita said that the main difference between the first and second seasons would be an absence of toxicity. The internet was clever to decode that the Emcure MD has said it for Ashneer who in the first season was known as a no-nonsense person.

During an interaction at IIT Kharagpur¡¯s annual fest, Ashneer reacted to the same and said, ¡°Yaar dekh, main yahan pe aaya, maine Namita Thapar ki baat ki? Uska reason hai, kyunki main usse miss hi nahi karta. Par woh mereko miss karti hai. Chahe woh toxicity bol le ya kuch bhi bol le, miss toh mereko hi kar rahi hai na.¡±

When a student quoted that some people aren¡¯t enjoying season 2 with his absence, Ashneer made his future association with the show pretty clear.

The ex-BharatPe MD said, ¡°Teesra, chautha, paanchwa season main nahi karne waala, mere se likhwa le. Aur uska reason yeh hai ke mujhe life mein aage badhna hai, peeche nahi. Life main aage badhna zaruri hota hai. Main bilkul stuck nahi hoon Shark Tank ko le ke. Life ka ek episode tha, kiya, maza aaya, fame kamaya, acha tha, ab woh aur kuch karenge. Hogaya uska.¡±

Ashneer Grover who is greasing his new start-up recently took to LinkedIn and addressed the mass-lay-off scenario several industries are conducting.

He wrote, ¡°It¡¯s sad to hear about firings every day. I am thankful that I¡¯ve never had to fire people because of bad markets - because I¡¯ve always hired considerately. As a Founder, you¡¯ve to think about the long game. I had posted about a 25% - 40% salary reduction a while back as an alternative to mass firings. I just don¡¯t get it why Founders won¡¯t go down that path.¡±
