BJP Leader 'Openly Threatens' Comedian Kunal Kamra, Says 'You Will Be Fixed Soon'

Mumbai BJP General Secretary Mohit Bharatiya has openly threatened stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra on social media.

This came after the comedian shared a graphic that read, ¡°Dear PM Modi, Media is with you, Bollywood is with you, 353 MP's are with you, all the Indian bigots are with you, corrupt criminals and rapists are with you, RSS is with you, NRI dhokla mafia is with you, but we stand rock solid against you, because the nation doesn't need you.¡±

This was in response to the graphic shared by Amit Malviya, who is the national in-charge of the BJP¡¯s IT cell. Kamra had altered the content.

For the unversed, Kunal Kamra is known for his anti-BJP stand. He often criticises BJP government, Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well Home Minister Amit Shah in his stand-up gigs as well as posts on social media.

Mohit Bharatiya's recent comment against Kunal Kamra was slammed by Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker. She took to Twitter to write that it was irresponsible conduct for an office bearing member of the ruling party to write such things on social media.

Meanwhile, Kunal Kamra has been voicing his opinion against Citizenship Amendment Act 2019 (CAA) by taking sarcastic jibes against the government and the prime minister from past couple of days on social media. In in previous tweet, Kunal Kamra claimed that PM Modi is now "demonetising humans". He also called the Bharatiya Janata Party "anti-India".
