1. Sardar Udham Singh
(Reports suggest the film might release on Amazon Prime Video on Oct 16)
Another big-budget biopic, this film stars Vicky Kaushal in the role of Sardar Udham Singh, a revolutionary freedom fighter who assassinated Michael O'Dwyer in London and thus took revenge for 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar.
2. Gangubai Kathiawadi

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next and much-hyped film Gangubai Kathiawadi stars Alia Bhatt in a lead role. The film is based on the life of powerful and controversial woman Gangubai, who was hailed as Madam of Kamathipura in the '60s. Here's all you need to know about her.
3. Pippa

In this war film based on the 1971 Indo-Pak war, Ishaan Khatter is all set to play war veteran Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta. The movie will be based on The Burning Chaffees written by Brig Mehta himself.
The Battle of Garibpur marked India's military victory over Pakistan in 1971. The war, in which several martyrs sacrificed their lives, lasted for 13 days after which Pakistan surrendered to India and Bangladesh. This led to the liberation of Bangladesh.
The movie is named after the Russian war tank PT-76, which was popularly called Pippa, was used in the war.
4. Laal Singh Chaddha

The Hindi remake of Tom Hanks' iconic film Forrest Gump will star Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor. The film will also show 1984 anti-sikh riots that killed over 8000 people. It is being made by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Aamir Khan Productions together. It has been directed by Advait Chandan.
5. KGF Chapter 2
(Release Date: April 4, 2022)
Also starring Sanjay Dutt, KGF Chapter 2 is releasing in multiple languages including Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi. In the film, Dutt will be seen in the role of villain Adheera while Yash will reprise his role of Rocky.

After Kabir Singh, Shahid Kapoor is starring in another Telugu remake titled Jersey. The original 2019 film which was also directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri is about a retired cricketer who at the age of 36 revives his career in order to fulfill his son's dreams and prove his ability to the world.
7. Looop Lapeta
(Release Date: Oct 22)
Looop Lapeta is an official remake of German film Run Lola Run. The story revolves around a woman who needs to obtain 100,000 Deutschmarks (currency of Germany) in twenty minutes to save the life of her boyfriend. The German film had screened at the Venice Film Festival, where it competed for the Golden Lion. The Bollywood film will star Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin in the lead roles.
8. Cirkus

While the release date of Sooryavanshi hasn't been decided as of yet, Rohit Shetty's Cirkus now has a release date. The movie stars Ranveer Singh in double role for the first time ever. Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde star as female leads along with other prominent roles being played by Varun Sharma, Siddhartha Jadhav, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra and Vrajesh Hirjee among others.
Cirkus is an official adaptation of the 1982 movie Angoor which was based on William Shakespeare's play The Comedy of Errors.
9. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2

Will Kartik Aaryan take this a notch higher or will this be a disappointment without Akshay Kumar? The first film was indeed a laughter riot that is still remembered for its dialogues and epic characters. The second part also stars Tabu and Kiara Advani in lead roles.
10. Raavan Leela

Scam 1992 actor Pratik Gandhi essays the role of Raavan, the demon king, in this film, which is set against the backdrop of Bhavai, which is a popular folk theatre form of Gujarat. The word Bhavai derives its meaning from Sanskrit word Bhava, meaning expression or emotion.
11. RRR

Directed by Baahubali fame SS Rajamouli, the period action drama brings together South stars like NT Rama Rao Jr and Ram Charan with Bollywood stars like Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt. It is a fictional story, originally written by KV Vijayendra Prasad, about two Indian revolutionaries--Alluri Sitarama Raju (Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Rama Rao)--who fought against the British Raj and Nizam of Hyderabad respectively. The story connects the coincidence between them.
The other two most awaited films that everyone is waiting for -- Sooryavanshi and 83 -- haven't been allotted released dates as of yet.
