When Madhur Bhandarkar's Page 3 opened in theatres in 2005, it was an instant success, earning three National Film Awards. The film, which starred Konkona Sensharma, Atul Kulkarni, and Boman Irani, among others, has since become a classic in Indian cinema. The film, which was released on January 21, celebrates its 20th anniversary today, and Konkona used Instagram to make a lengthy post about it.

Konkana shared a few nostalgic images with the director and fellow cast like Boman Irani, Atul Kulkarni and Sandhya Mridul. Along with the throwback images, she wrote, "I can hardly believe PAGE 3 released 20 years ago! My first experience of filming in Bombay."
"This was 2005, the year of the flood and the year I moved to this city which has now been my home for over two decades! At the time I was young, full of abandon and free of expectations but today I look back with so much gratitude," the Life in a Metro actor further wrote.
Sensharma ended her post by thanking Madhur Bhandarkar. She wrote, Ą°Thank you @imbhandarkar for Madhvi Sharma, a character I received so much love for. Thank you @tarasharmasaluja and @sandymridul for the lifelong friendships."
Fans call the movie 'iconic'
As the post made rounds on the internet, fans recalled their love for the movie. Some called it movie their "favourite" while others dubbed it as "iconic." Here's what they wrote.
The film was scheduled to have Amit Ralli as the lead, but after his sad death, Page 3 saw Jai Kalra make his Bollywood debut.
