Annu Kapoor Feels The Word 'Nepotism' Is Being Used In An Inappropriate Manner In Recent Times

The man is a hit in every medium. Whether it's television, plays, theatre or movies, Bollywood actor Annu Kapoor does things differently each time and woos his audience over and over again. He has been in the industry for close to 40 years but his work always gets a notch higher with every project.

During the lockdown, the actor incidentally got stuck at his farmhouse and is thankful for the same. "I kept waking up early for my daily regimen of Yog, Pranayaam and 5 KM walk and worked on a few concepts. Connection and concerned with family and friends always remained constant. Whole world suffered, millions perished, billions struggled to survive.

He even made a valid point on how some people made money through various methods. "Covid was lethal and brutal for everyone but still few privileged ones not only survived but earned billions too. Corruption found new avenues to penetrate the society. I did not have to watch TV channels to know the truth."

Conveying his condolences to MS Dhoni actor Sandeep Nahar who died by suicide this week and blamed wife and also film industry, Annu Kapoor said, "One has to slog and manage in this world and film industry is a part of our world, it is the by-produce of indian society although prominently visible in the society due to the fondness of Indian people towards cinema and the glamour of it. The world "Nepotism" hardly used in an appropriate manner in recent times and controversies."

Annu Kapoor feels it's important to be different every time for every role

When supporting actors especially talk about difficulties in finding their feet in the industry, Annu Kapoor has turned it around and bagged a National Award for Vicky Donor. He feels one has to keep evolving. "Sheer hard work and talent can take you further. I tried to give different every time I was given a role. Language is the most important mode of communication it also depicts individuality of a character therefore I have been among those who used different dialects to portray a role. I used the dialects/accents of my country which not many used! i.e. Himachali, Rajasthani, Haryanvi, Avadhi, Bhopali, Brij ,Pashto etc. Perhaps one day my worth and contribution will be realized."

Concluding the interview, Annu Kapoor said, one has to do your best and be ready for worst. "Don¡¯t stick to one thing try to explore different avenues, different mediums. Don¡¯t get into drugs, Smoking, alcohol. Earn money and save, invest your income. Use of steroids will be harmful in longer runs so build your body using natural things .healthy food, sound sleep and art of love making will strengthen your being. Respect women. Be original, and whoever you are, whatever you are, and what you do, try to bring glory to your motherland and family."
